Emma Scodellaro is a Fashions on the Field competitor, judge and the creator & administrator of the Facebook group & Instagram page ‘It’s All About the Sash’ @itsallaboutthesash. She first started competing in FOTF in 2009, predominately around Victoria but also travelling interstate on occasion. She has won ‘Lady of the Day’ on many occasions including a regional title, and has also placed in many events all within Victoria. Her most noted achievements in FOTF include
- winning the Longines Award for Elegance at Flemington Racecourse
- winning a sash at Flemington Racecourse during the Melbourne Cup Carnival
- winning & placing runner up at Caulfield Racecourse
- winning the overall Country Racing Victoria’s ‘Best Dressed’ competition in 2013 after coming 2nd in 2012
- being a Top 10 finalists at Flemington, Caulfield and Interstate on numerous occasions
Her greatest achievement in FOTF is her involvement with ‘It’s All About The Sash’, which is a positive support & resource networking page for all involved in Fashions on the Field, promoting inclusivity, new friendships, ideas and where photos of FOTF competitions worldwide are shared. ‘It’s All About The Sash’ is her passion project as the group aims to educate, promote and contribute to the development of FOTF events not only in Australia but also worldwide. She has authored an extensive range of articles on the topic of Fashions on the Field and has been interviewed for National publications on the topic of Fashions on the Field on numerous occasions.
Emma has also judged extensively both within Victoria and Interstate. When judging FOTF she is particularly looking for:
- an overall look that says ‘WOW!’
- originality & authenticity of outfits
- effortless & polished styling
- dressing to suit your body shape
- showing off your personality within your outfit
- quality millinery for all genders
Angela currently resides in Melbourne and treats everyday as a day to dress up and explore the fun of fashion. She is a milliner and designer with a love of horseracing. Her design aesthetic is varied but is underlined with a passion for bold colour, pattern and texture. Since 2003 she has been a regular competitor in FOTF competitions at major Australian race meetings, winning many sashes along the way. Her ultimate highlight was being sashed as the winner of the national Myer Fashions on the Field competition at the Melbourne Cup Carnival in 2011 in an outfit she designed and made herself. She was thrilled to have her winning ensemble on display at the National Sports Museum as part of their Racing Style exhibition and was part of the Fashion and Flemington book, celebrating 50 years of FOTF. Angela was a Myer Fashions on the Field ambassador at Rosehill Racecourse for the ATC Sydney Autumn Carnival in 2012 and has been invited back to Flemington judge FOTF in the years since. She enjoys sitting on the other side of the stage these days and has judged various Fashions on the Field competitions all around Australia. In 2017 and 2018 Angela was thrilled to be named Cairns Amateurs Carnival Ambassador.
Aside from racing, she has kept herself busy creating millinery and working full time in the fashion industry. Angela is originally from Canberra and studied fashion design at the Canberra Institute of Technology.

Bethany is a Mother of two with extensive experience working in the fashion and beauty industry, including running her own fashion boutique specialising in FOTF and styling women from Australia and New Zealand to create winning ensembles . Bethany enjoys judging and competing in FOTF and has won numerous Best Dressed Lady, Best Millinery and Best Accessory.
Bethany is the curator of @best_dressed_access and is currently the only West Australian FOTF blogger https://fashionsonthefield.home.blog/ penning over 30 blogs based on her experiences competing in FOTF. Bethany has been featured in many publications and has been interviewed by the West Australian Newspaper, Nova 93.7pm radio and on fellow FOTF bloggers posts. Currently, Bethany dedicates her time to working with underprivileged children and running her skincare business.

Milano is an Australian Racing Fashion Blogger. With a passion for design and styling, she enjoys showcasing her own unique racewear creations in Fashions on the Field Competitions. Milano has also judged numerous FOTF competitions throughout Australia and Internationally. In 2015, she started the milanoimai.com blog where she shares style tips, DIY ideas, interviews, race day updates and trend reports.
Milano is also the founder of Millinery Market, an online marketplace that makes it easy to buy or rent a beautiful hat from talented milliners and race enthusiasts across Australia and internationally.
Viera is the founder of the Get Racy Online Racing Fashion accessories store, which she started in 2014 to allow people in Australia and worldwide to have access to affordable and on-trend millinery and accessories. Viera has a love of racing fashion, having competed in FOTF competitions Australia wide with success and she loves all aspects of creating and coordinating outfits. She has a great pleasure assisting and encouraging people to be creative and stylish regardless of their budget.
