• The Final Word – Supreme Winner – Sally Mallyon

Congratulations Sally! you are now our supreme winner how does it feel? I’m honestly so thrilled and still cannot believe it. For a last minute collaboration of two dresses, topped off with a few Target Accessories to take the top prize, is unbelievable. It just goes to show that it’s not necessarily what you wear, it’s how you wear it. My 5 year old Son did so well taking the photos and I think that made winning that little bit more special for us. You have won some incredible prizes, what are you most looking forward to receiving?  There were so many amazing sponsors and I am very excited to receive…

  • A catch up with Round 4 Winner – Steven Giofches

Your outfit has amazing colour and points of interest. Tell us how you put it together? In my opinion outfits are always dependent on the Season. Autumn to me is more heavier textured fabrics with deeper and solid colours. This particular outfit was suit first as its dark green colour and texture caught my eye a few months back. Being autumn in Melbourne, I decided on a merino grey vest matching the suits texture instead of a lighter waist coat fabric. With the colours green and grey I wanted a stand out tie knowing that burnt orange not only matched well but offered the colours of the changing leaves in…

  • A catch up with Round 3 Winner – Emma Wells

Congratulations on winning round 3 of virtual FOTF! Your outfit was incredible please tell us how you put it  together? This entire outfit was created using pieces that I had previously worn! I’m definitely making a conscious effort to reuse and recycle wherever I can, so it just made the win even more special.  The dress is part of a cape set, and was made by a very talented friend. The fabric, chosen originally to represent the colours of the black opals of NSW, is a floral pattern which is in keeping with the popularity of florals at present. The high boots- a strong overseas trend at present – are a…

  • Week 1 What a whirlwind

A few weeks ago, as the Prime Minister announced the end to all social events of more than 500 ppl and race courses shut their doors, our FOTF community went into a collective melt down. However, Australia’s lead FOTF social influencers and bloggers all had a similar idea, the FOTF show must go on, virtually. This competition came together through a series of fortunate events. On that Friday afternoon, Viera Macikova (Get Racy) announced she was going to host her own virtual competition. Bethany Brajkovich (Best Dressed Access) was doing a live on Instagram, addressing the concerns of the community when she suggested taking the competition online to her followers.…
